Christina Hattler Studio
Hand Made Clothing, 2000- 2009
I spent a decade making one of a kind pieces of clothing while living between Brooklyn, Miami and Central Mexico. An exceptionally wonderful time to be an independent designer.
Below you’ll find an archive of the work I made through this time period, most of which was sold at Albertine a beautiful teeny store owned and run by Artist Kyung Lee, which was located at 13 Christopher street in the West Village and Satine in Los Angeles owned and run by Jeanie Lee. Kyung and Jeanie sold every piece I ever made to the most incredible and loyal clients. Women such as Victoria, Samantha and Vanessa Traina, Bryce Dallas Howard, Michelle Williams, Kim France, Andrea Linette, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie among countless other incredible women supported my tiny dress making business.

Cut and sewn in my living room, using silks, vintage and antique fabrics.
Modeled by my gorgeous teenage sisters and their friends in the back yard of my parent’s home in Miami. I also made jewelry pieces and accessories with textiles and objects I found on my travels though Mexico.
