MEXCHIC´S STUDIO, 2024

British photographer Kate Berry spent the day documenting the Mexchic textile studio / laboratory which also happens to be my home located in Santa Maria del Tule, Oaxaca, Mexico. These are the incredible images Kate took and it is within this magical light-filled space where every single piece of our clothing is cut and sewn including all of our hand made patterns drafted and witchy natural dyes extracted. Since I live in this same building, you´ll always find me multi-tasking 1000 different projects, tinkering and experimenting with new and interesting materials while cooking meals with my daughter, playing with our pets and growing dye and fiber plants in our garden. I am so grateful to have this incredible documentation of such a lovely and prolific time in my life. Thank you Kate! xox C
